Teaching methods

A characteristic feature are the manageable class sizes with a maximum of 40 students. This leads to tutorial-style lesson units, with the attendant advantages of both close and personal contact between lecturers and students, along with the opportunity to directly address staff and immediate feedback.

Due to the small student intake each semester, exercises scheduled in the study programme are able to be integrated into the lectures. New lesson content or content compiled collectively is, thus, immediately used in exercise tasks, practised and learned in-depth.

Lectures and exercises are complemented with extensive practice-oriented projects, in which the practical comprehension of lecture and exercise material is the main focus. Case studies and practical role plays are carried out.
